About Us.

Turlock's trusted hospice care.

Located in the heart of California’s Central Valley near Sacramento, CovenantCare Hospice, formerly Hospice of Emanuel, is proud to have served the city of Turlock and its surrounding communities for over 30 years. We received our Medicare certification in 1983, the first year Medicare initiated payment for Hospice providers. The fact that our mission is grounded in a 100-year Christian heritage of service is of great importance to us. Our team has great respect for our patients and their families, and considers it a privilege to be invited into their lives and homes at such an intimate time of life. When medicine cannot provide a cure, we offer comfort, care and compassion.

CovenantCare Hospice in Turlock has strong ties to the community that we work to maintain through various outreach initiatives. Support groups and memorial programs that honor the lives that were lost throughout the year are open to all in the community. Also, a number of our key staff members make presentations to universities, colleges, organized clubs, and churches in an effort to provide education on hospice in general and offer support to those in need. Furthermore, our partnership with Jessica’s House, a local not-for-profit grief support program for children, holds a special place in our hearts.

Our organization has long-standing reputation in Turlock and surrounding communities for providing high quality, compassionate and appropriate care to our patients and their families. We approach our role as caregivers, advisors, companions, and comforters with thoughtfulness and respect.
